EU: Changes in the EU's Population; UK Population Change, 2007-2017



From Euronews - a look at four specific areas to explain the shifts in the European Union’s make-up

"Romania, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Hungary, Latvia, Croatia and Poland have all seen their populace decrease since 2007, according to Eurostat figures. Over the same period the United Kingdom, France, Italy and Spain have all seen their populations increase by a million or more".

The United Kingdom experienced the biggest population change in the EU the last decade

2007 = 61,073,279 

2017=  65,808,573

Change= 4,735,294
