After a thirteen-hour journey, from dramatic thunderstorms, lightning and power cuts in Zagori, to strong winds on the Aegean island of Andros ("Little England"). I was too tired to wait up for the vote (Yanis Varoufakis was also too tired to vote, and heading instead to the island of Aegina). But here's what happened:

The government proposes to open up a few professions: engineers, notaries, court-house clerks and actuaries...

Doch dafür stellen sie Bedingungen: weitere Klarstellungen - und vor allem weitergehende Reformen".
"Ein neues Programm werde aber nicht nur auf den von Athen vorgelegten vordringlichen Maßnahmen („prior actions") beruhen können, schreiben die Institutionen weiter. Es müsse auch " „strukturelle Benchmarks, Meilensteine und quantitative Benchmarks" für die weitere Zukunft enthalten. Die verhalten positive Einschätzung der Institutionen gilt nach F.A.S.-Informationen nur unter der Voraussetzung, dass die griechische Regierung weitere Bedingungen erfüllt und Klarstellungen vornimmt. Die Institutionen machen auch deutlich, dass die von Athen angebotenen Reformen, die jährlich Einsparungen und Mehreinnahmen im Umfang von 2,5 Prozent der Wirtschaftskraft bringen sollen, angesichts der „bedeutsamen Verschlechterung der makroökonomischen und finanziellen Bedingungen" nicht ausreichen, um die mit den Geldgebern vereinbarten Primärüberschüsse im Staatshaushalt zu erreichen".
