From Dorset Echo - HANDS OFF OUR WARDS: Consultation on future of health services put back to 2016
I hope that does not mean that the £2.75 million price tag for the consultancy is allowed to increase or escalate.
Official update
"The CCG is committed to gathering the views of the public and any additional information to support decision-making about what changes to make to local healthcare services. At the start of the review the CCG had anticipated it would be ready to go to public consultation this summer. However, despite a significant amount of work over recent months the doctors believe there is still more to do, and public consultation is now more likely to begin in early 2016".
Dr Forbes Watson, a local GP and Chair of the CCG, said:
‘We have a clear vision of what we think we need to do to improve healthcare in Dorset, but want to do more detailed thinking, planning, and analysis to help set out clearly to the public how we think we would realise those ambitions.
