Closed Professions? The Case of the Corfiot Hairdresser

The story of the frustrated hairdresser on Corfu may be somewhat anecdotal, but it sounds plausible.

Let's see if the European Commissioner can shed any light on the problem.

Who would want to be a hairdresser, anyway? It's classified as a hazardous occupation in Greece, because of all the chemicals involved. Hence the retirement age of 50, for women.
