Some of these days

Charlie Patton

This version sounds new to me (although I have it on CD). I wonder if Jean-Paul Sartre would have liked it (cf his novel, Nausea):

"The last chord has died away. In the brief silence which follows, I feel strongly that this is it, that something has happened.

  Silence.
                 Some of these days
                 You'll miss me honey!

What has happened is that the Nausea has disappeared....I am in the music..."

The blues is the best medicine! The songs that do it for me are Ma Rainey's "Grieving Hearted Blues", and Blind Willie Johnson's "Dark was the night".
