Three bluesy, melancholic, nostalgic country songs by Blaze Foley: they still connect - especially now.
Faded Loves And Memories
Blaze Foley (Dec. 18, 1949 – Feb. 1, 1989) was the victim of a fatal shooting on January 31, 1989.
I hope he didn't mind me summoning him up on my short Easter Saturday stroll through the thousands of daisies and dandelions on our "Great Field" on a sunny afternoon.

From the CD album, Live at the Austin Outhouse, which I bought nearly twenty years ago in a Stockholm record shop (never having heard of the singer at the time), on the recommendation of the shop's manager.
