Poundbury, Dorchester: Going Up in the World; Queen Mother Square

An exclusive and inclusive neighbourhood: million pound apartments and outstanding social housing- and a new butcher-deli to boot! A brace of new buildings and facilities, with plans for a two-storey Hall and Woodhouse gastro-pub. The "pulse of Poundbury" (in and around Queen Mother Square) is fast becoming a reality. I hope the planners don't forget about the need to provide for much more parking space- preferably underground.
