Number of arrivals at Ionian Islands airports continues to increase, Enimerosi

"According to statistics from Fraport, August airport arrivals - both international and domestic - increased compared to the same period last year. International arrivals at Corfu increased by 11.7%. Domestic arrivals and departures at Corfu increased by 20.6%", Enimerosi.

Some fascinating statistics!

What about the management of waste? I estimate that about 100 million plastic water bottles are thrown away on the island every year. That's based on the estimated annual consumption by residents and the typical holiday consumption of visitors arriving by plane, ferry (coaches and cars etc), cruise ship, yacht.
