On Safari in Kenya

I'll never forget being charged by an angry rhinoceros in Tsavo National Park, Kenya, when I had two small children in the car. We managed to escape, but only just.

We weren't so lucky with the ferocious mosquitoes of Amboseli National Park. Sitting out on the terrace in the safari park in the evening, scores of mosquitoes bit my ankles and legs through my socks and trousers. It certainly wasn't very amusing, even though two Corfiots seemed to see the funny side.
