The First Discovery of Australia

Intrepid Aussie explorers discover an ancient Sarakatsani stone map of Australia, with prelapsarian runic lichen marks. It seems that the Zagori nomads got there first, several thousand years before William Dampier and James Cook.

"I told you so" (Zagori herdsman) -

- "Homer got it wrong when he said we'd never seen the sea".*

(* Teiresius to Odysseus in the underworld: "You must take a well-made oar and carry it on and on, till you come to a country where the people have never heard of the sea and do not even mix salt with their food, nor do they know anything about ships, and oars that are as the wings of ships". The Odyssey, Book 11, tr. S. Butler)
