Martial Law and Military Coups

When I first came to Corfu, the symbol of the soldier and the phoenix was everywhere, on postage stamps, matchbox labels, and on top of the Old Fortress.

Later, when I was in Ethiopia, there was another military coup. I wrote a satirical song called "Martial Law", combining elements of both events. It hardly matters whether the leaders of the coups professed to be Rightists or Marxists.

I have just recorded the song in Sinarades ( my friend Raul Scacchi did the musical arrangement). Feedback welcome!

(The photos have no connection with the song).
