How important are the first few pages of a book?
Here are some books which keep drawing me back to their unforgettable first few pages (and I don't stop there!):
"Prospero's Cell" by Lawrence Durrell
"Zorba the Greek" by Nikos Kazantzakis
"The Outsider" by Albert Camus
"Out of Africa" by Karen Blixen
"Metamorphosis" by Franz Kafka
