The Archaeology of Tourism, Dassia, Corfu, Club Med; New Topographics

It's hard to believe that the last year of operation of the Club Med on Corfu was in 2002. People have different recollections of when it closed, after around 50 years of continuous operation in Dassia.
The extensive plot of land has changed hands a number of times over the course of the past twelve years (Russian, Chinese, Dutch?) - but none of the owners has done anything to develop it or to keep it tidy. A suitable subject for a New Topographics Wastelands photographer?
