Corfu: Sabotage to Water Supply and Biological Treatment Plant?

Friends in Sinarades have been suffering from five days or more of serious water supply problems. It seems that higher districts are affected most, because of lack of water pressure as a result of some mains water supply taps or valves having been turned off or tampered with, leading to damage in the ageing water distribution system.

According to a municipal official on Corfu Channel TV this morning, the municipalities are not to blame. The fact that some of the biological sewage treatment plants have broken down at the same time indicates that this could be an act of sabotage!

In short, they smell a fish.
