Bicentenary Reading List
The book above, Edward Lear, The Corfu Years, is now stocked by Plous Biblipoleio in Nik. Theotokis Street. Hurry while limited stocks last! Denise Harvey kindly arranged to supply some of the remaining copies of this beautiful book for the Lear Bicentenary. It is very reasonably priced.
Oooh, is that still available? And I wonder if I can get it on my Kindle? Perfect for reading in the Ionian. Or West Dorset, for that matter.
ReplyDeleteWhich of the three books illustrated is of interest? I think copies of The Corfu Years can be obtained directly from the publisher, Denise Harvey, in Greece.
ReplyDeleteThe other two are probably expensive out-of-print collectors' items, unless they are available in facsimile editions.
It would be wonderful if they could all be reprinted this Bicentenary Year.
