In Praise of Phil Trigwell

An old Stockholm friend, Phil Trigwell, is surely one of Britain's great but relatively unsung rockabilly talents.

He's a remarkable and versatile musician, as much into big band music as he is into rockabilly and Buddy Holly's music.

Had he lived in the UK, rather than in Sweden, he would have been much better known on the world stage than he is.

Try his version of "It doesn't matter anymore", for starters.

Sweden is full of outstanding rockabilly artists, like Wildfire Willie and the Ramblers (better seen live).

A great country for rockabilly, blues and jazz.
