At the end of Book 2 of Childe Harold's Pilgrimage, Lord Byron provided a short appendix (5 pages) full of useful phrases and dialogues, in Greek and English. Here's a selection of the English entries:
I pray you, give me if you please
My dear Sir, do me this favour
I entreat you
I conjure you
Oblige me so much
You are too obliging
I beg you will treat me freely
Not so much ceremony I beg
I love you with all my heart
Honour me with your commands
Command your servant
My compliments to her ladyship
You confound me with so much civility
Let me go
