It's always a thrill to see and feel the first copy of a new book.
I finally received an advance copy of my "Ionian Islands and Epirus" at Corfu post office today. It's been a long wait. It should be available in about a month from now. For those who may be interested, it's probably best to order it from Amazon.
Congratulations! It is an honour for people of the Ionian islands and Epirus that a book about the history of that particular region is available in the international market.
ReplyDeleteI agreed to give a short an amateurish chat about relations between different Lord High Commissioners and Ionian politicians on the evening of 3 Feb at the Durrell School. Is there any chance of being able to peak at a copy or have a coffee with you before then. This is what I've put together so far.

No plaigarism; all references credited - indeed I'd be delighted to make mention of your exciting new book but didn't want to wait a month!. s.j.baddeley@bham.ac.uk
