Having seen the Rizareios Foundation exhibition, "Greece 1896-1906, Images from Stereoscopic Photographs", in Monodendri, Epirus, I was thrilled to find a stall at the Eastern Market, Washington, DC, which had some of the original Underwood and Underwood stereoscopic photographs on sale for a reasonable price. In the end I bought a dozen views of Greece, including this one of Corfu, Fortress Vecchia and the Harbour, copyright 1897:
