Songs for Scotland, Glasgow, September 3; and songs by Rory and Phil Allardice

Rory Allardice (who has a place on Lefkada) drew my attention to this concert in Glasgow tomorrow night.

Some songs by Rory and Phil Allardice:

Barnyards of Delgaty

Johnny Cope

The Burning of Auchindoon

Songs for Scotland:

Wed 3rd Sep at 7:00pm
SONGS FOR SCOTLAND

Featuring: Dick Gaughan, Emily Smith, Ewan MacLennan, Eilidh Mackenzie, Loki with Rebecca Wallace, Allan MacDonald, Kathleen MacInnes, Findlay Napier, Shooglenifty, Lady Alba, Adam Ross, Siobhan Miller, Louie.

Òran Mór, Gaelic for 'great melody of life' or 'big song'.

Details of venue.

A concert for the Yes campaign? I can't be there to find out, but my journalistic instincts tell me that it would be a good place to gauge the mood of around half the Scottish nation.

An album to follow (which makes it clear)
