Weymouth Port, Condor Ferries, Olympic Games

The Dorset Echo reports on the implications of the damaged harbour wall and ferry berth, as Condor Ferries have extended the switch of services from Weymouth to Poole.

Dorset Echo update.
Further update 14 March

Just when I was planning a day trip to the Channel Islands from Weymouth!

Let's hope Weymouth services resume soon, for the sake of the Weymouth and Portland economies, in this Olympic year:

Condor Ferries moves sailings to Poole for the duration of the summer
Condor Ferries has confirmed today that sailings will be relocated from Weymouth to Poole until further notice. Feedback from Weymouth and Portland Borough Council indicates that the interim remedial works carried out by the council on the berth at Weymouth Port have not been successful and their advice is that the berth remains out of use.
