Not content with Paxos (?), Nina-Maria and family are now on the volcanic island of Ometepe, Lake Nicaragua. Not sure if this photo was taken before or after the encounter with a tarantula in their eco (very eco) lodge. She writes of the rain forest, of iguanas, giant toads, huge scorpions and howler monkeys - and an active volcano. There are two volcanoes, Concepcion and Maderas.
I hope they don't have to evacuate in a hurry.
