"
Virtue is in the mountains, in the stony villages" (Peter Levi,
In Memory of George Seferis)
A line worthy of being embroidered!
It reminds me of one of the analects of Confucius:
The wise find pleasure in water.
The virtuous find pleasure in mountains.
Or (alternatively):
The wise man admires water, the kind man admires mountains.
